I was interested in the process of audio recording, and this method of sensory attentiveness to capture a routine within my house. I was interested in the maintenance and care that I perform to and how this is an active relationship I have with my domestic environment.

While recording the watering of my indoor plants I became conscious of water as an entity that I was engaging with, and this made me contemplative of its value and political stance within our society. This performative intervention was useful in engaging in a conscious intervention, demanding a mental presence and consideration of the entirety of this domestic routine, and the entities within it.
