clump of hairs' journey around the courtyard

on a gently windy day

friday 17th april

about:

We don’t have control over which way the wind blows and which way it blows our hair. I woke to a windy morning and decided to document this interaction between wind and hair. I was interested in continuing this thought process into a spatial notation. Over one hour, I created a live mapping of a clump of my hairs’ journey around my courtyard on a gently windy day. I used tape to mark this journey, interiorizing this conversation between wind and hair clump. I consider this to be another developing method of collaborative practice, that is highly responsive to a living situation.
